NCEA Promising Practices Clearinghouse
The National Center on Elder Abuse's Promising Practices Database is an online tool that can help you locate program models and information resources around the country related to elder abuse prevention, intervention, and public education. This searchable database is intended to be a resource for academics, advocates, and practitioners to learn from these programs and maximize resources for elder abuse prevention and intervention.
Our database is a work in progress, thus we will continue adding new programs over time. In 2008, new information was added to each listing that will better inform people who access this database. Our focus for the new information concerns evidence-based practices, projects, or trainings that were employed and based on research.
We need your help to make sure that the information we have about you is current and accurate. If there are any inconsistencies, please feel free to contact us at ncea-info@aoa.hhs. If you would like to suggest we include your program in this database, please send us your information. The information you provide will be posted verbatim, with the exception of grammar, spelling, and punctuation edits.
