In 2009 the Office of Head Start initiated a process of continual review for all outdated issuances so that only Information Memoranda and Program Instructions from the previous three years will be included in the current set of issuances.  IM and PI issuances that are no longer relevant are formally withdrawn; those issuances that are modified to align with current law, regulations, or policies are reissued with a new log number.

Accordingly, the documents retained in this archive have been withdrawn or superceded by the Office of Head Start and are retained for historic interest only.  They may be browsed by selecting the chronological groups below.
