Wholesale inventories in November 2010 were $425.5 billion, down 0.2% from October but up 8.4% from one year ago. Sales were $370.1 billion, up 1.9% from October 2010 and up 12.2% from November 2009.

In their public comments, the Secretary and ESA’s Under Secretary and Chief Economist put the indicators into a national and global economic context.
Wholesale inventories rose 1.3% in July 2010 to $405.0 billion, and were 2.5% higher than a year ago. Sales increased 0.6% in July to $350.1 billion, up 12.7% from a year ago.
Wholesale inventories in June 2010 were $399.2 billion, up 0.1% from the revised May level but down 0.3% from June 2009. Sales were $347.4 billion, down 0.7% from the prior month and up 12.9% from their level one year ago.
