Risk Management Webinar and WorkshopWebinar The webinar, Clinical Guidelines and Liability Prevention: An Overview will be a 2-1/2-hour interactive session conducted by experts in medication assisted treatment. Participants will be introduced to current liability trends and best practices for delivering methadone for opioid addiction and learn methods for reducing and preventing risks. Participants can also expect to obtain the perspective of an insurance carrier while dissecting the challenges through case studies and learning activities. An open dialogue will conclude the webinar, with questions being answered by our expert panel. Both CME and Continuing Education credits will be available, 2.5 Hours. New webinar dates to be announced in 2010. Workshop The workshop, Clinical Guidelines and Liability Prevention, will be a full-day face-to-face training. During this workshop, attendees will learn the do’s and don’ts in current methadone practice to treat opioid addiction. Attendees will also learn how to improve patient safety through the development of comprehensive risk management strategies that incorporate best practices, treatment guidance, and affirmative risk management. These strategies also address the evidence of methadone’s use as an effective opioid addiction treatment. Both CME and Continuing Education credits will be available, 7 Hours. New workshop dates to be announced in 2010. It is highly recommended that participants attend both the webinar and the workshop.
