The Protein Structure Initiative (PSI) and Nature Publishing Group (NPG) provide the Structural Biology Knowledgebase and all its content on an "as is" basis, without warranty or representation of any kind, express or implied. The content of the Knowledgebase website is protected by international copyright, trademark and other laws. You may download articles and web pages from this site for your personal, non-commercial use only, provided that you keep intact all authorship, copyright and other proprietary notices. The Featured Molecule can also be used for educational purposes, provided that credit is given to both David Goodsell and the PSI Structural Biology Knowledgebase. The Knowledgebase portal links to data files from a variety of other data repositories. Access to these data from external resources follow the policies of the respective resources, and the Knowledgebase places no additional restrictions on the use of these data. If you use the Knowledgebase, you accept these terms. The PSI reserves the right to modify these terms at any time.

What information do we collect?

The PSI and NPG are committed to providing quality information and services to the scientific community. In order to do this, we need to know a little about the visitors to our websites. We collect only the domain name and any additional information volunteered by the visitor, such as their e-mail address. We also collect aggregate and user-specific information on what which pages are accessed or visited. The information we collect is used for internal review, to improve the content of our web pages and hardware infrastructure, and to also justify continued support of the Knowledgebase. We may also notify readers about updates to the website. The database is hosted by the PSI Structural Biology Knowledgebase and collected information is shared with NPG but is not sold or traded with other organizations.
