NGS Plays Major Role at 44th Annual Alaska Surveying and Mapping Conference
NOAA's National Geodetic Survey (NGS) provided significant content at the recent 2010 Alaska Surveying and Mapping Conference held in Anchorage, Alaska. NGS led a height modernization forum, conducted a geoid modeling workshop, and made presentations on several topics, including crustal deformation, and planned enhancements to the NOAA managed and maintained National Spatial Reference System.
