Arriving by Metro (Metro map)
Take the Red Line to the Medical Center stop. Exit, and at the top of the escalators, enter the Gateway Center to receive a visitor ID badge. Exit the Gateway Center onto the campus and walk or take a shuttle bus to destination.

Arriving by Car (Gateway entrance map)
Visitors must enter the campus through NIH Gateway Drive, just south of the intersection of Rockville Pike/South Drive, and park in the visitor parking garage (MLP 11).

Driving directions (map)
All visitors should park in the new MLP-11 visitor-only parking garage at the Gateway complex. Vehicles parking in this garage will not go through inspection. Park and walk to the Gateway Center.

• From Washington, D.C
  Take Wisconsin Avenue (Rt. 355) north through Bethesda. Make a u-turn at South Drive so that you are heading south on Rockville Pike. Take first right onto NIH Gateway Drive.
• From Baltimore
  Take I-95 South towards Washington, DC. Take I-495 (Capital Beltway) towards Silver Spring/Bethesda. Take Exit 34 (Wisconsin Ave Route 355 South/Rockville Pike). Follow signs to go south on Wisconsin Avenue (Rt. 355) towards Washington/Bethesda. Turn right onto NIH Gateway Drive (approximately 2 miles).
• From Frederick
  Take I-270 South. Bear left onto 270 South (towards Silver Spring/College Park) at the I-270/I-495 split. Take the 355 South exit towards Bethesda. Turn right onto NIH Gateway Drive (approximately 2 miles).
• From Virginia and All Points South of Washington, DC
  Take I-95 North towards Washington, DC. Take I-495 (Capital Beltway) North towards Silver Spring/Bethesda. Take the 355 South exit towards Bethesda. Turn right onto NIH Gateway Drive (approximately 2 miles).
