SUSPENSION OF BONDING PRIVILEGE FOR NEW SHIPPERS
    The Department of Commerce implements the temporary suspension of the new shipper bonding provision in
accordance with the Pension Protection Act, which was signed into law on August 17, 2006. This legislation affects entries of subject merchandise from new shippers during the period April 1, 2006, through June 30, 2009. (PDF 1pp 14K)

The Notice of Opportunity to Request Administrative Review of Antidumping or Countervailing Duty Order, Finding, or Suspended Investigation, which published on May 1, 2006 (71 FR 25565), contained an error. Specifically, it identified the period for which an interested party could request an administrative review of the countervailing duty order on softwood lumber from Canada (C-122-839)
as 1/1/05 - 12/31/05. The correct period of review would be 4/1/05 - 3/31/06. The Department intends to publish notice of this correction
in the next Notice of Opportunity.
