Notice of Change to Mediation Guidelines regarding Confidentiality and Settlements That Include Terms Concerning Vacatur of a District Court Ruling

The United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit adopts amendments to the Mediation Guidelines set out in the Dear Reader letter available here.



On October 3, 2005, the court initiated an Appellate Mediation Program. The program is authorized by an en banc order, revised on September 18, 2006, and is operated in accordance with the Guidelines, last revised on May 1, 2008. The court has approved a list of individuals to serve as mediators. In addition to the documents already mentioned, the following forms can be printed or completed on-line:
