	Integrating Buprenorphine Therapy Into HIV Primary Care Settings Read Online (PDF - 2 MB) Assists Ryan White grantees in designing or refining the delivery of public health services to include the integration of buprenorphine-HIV treatment services/programs. The projects highlighted in this monograph were found to be highly effective - as determined by HRSA and SPNS Program staff - and offer the greatest likelihood for replication. The chapters outline the processes programs need to put in place, including meeting DATA 2000 regulatory requirements, achieving institutional buy-in, implementing staff training requirements, and evaluating processes and outcomes.

	Getting Started with OPTIONS Read Online (PDF - 780 KB) The Options intervention was designed to help People Living with HIV/AIDS engage in safer sexual and drug use behavior and maintain such behaviors over time in order to maximize their own health and the health of their partners. The intervention builds on the supportive relationship and trust that typically develops between healthcare providers and their HIV+ patients, and it provides a framework that providers can use to initiate and maintain brief discussions about HIV risk reduction (e.g., condom use, clean needle use) with their patients on an ongoing basis.

	Costs and Factors Associated with Turnover among Peer and Outreach Workers within the Young Men of Color Who Have Sex with Men SPNS Initiative Read Online (PDF - 200 KB) This exploratory analysis aims to understand the costs and correlates of turnover among peer/outreach workers employed by grantees within the SPNS Outreach, Care, and Prevention to Engage HIV Seropositive Young MSM of Color Initiative. This initiative was composed of eight grantees using innovative strategies to engage and retain HIV-positive young MSM of color into care. This analysis uses both quantitative and qualitative methods. The costs and correlates of turnover are investigated through examining survey data (from a turnover tool designed for this analysis), interview data, budget data, and grantee enrollment data.

	Cost Analysis of the Caribbean Peer Promoter Initiative: The Impact of Budget Allocation Strategies on Program Participation and Retention Read Online (PDF 3 MB) This report aims to improve the understanding of program operations and funding strategies used by grantees with positive program outcomes. This analysis compares the funds that grantees dedicated to different areas of their programs, including certain personnel and program activities, using two measures: the number of program participants and the percent of clients retained in the multi-site study.
