The week of February 10th, the Canandaigua VAMC and the Rochester VA Outpatient Clinic (ROPC) will celebrate “National Salute to Veteran Patients Week” and the 80th Anniversary of the Canandaigua VA.

On December 7 at 2:00 p.m., the Canandaigua VA Medical Center will hold an Ecumenical Prayer/ Pearl Harbor Remembrance ceremony.
- Groundbreaking for VanKeuren Square
A groundbreaking ceremony was held on Thursday November 8, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at 2223 East Genesee Street, in Syracuse to highlight the commencement of the construction of VanKeuren Square which will provide permanent housing for Veterans that are participants of the Syracuse VA Medical Center Healthcare for Homeless Veterans Program.

On October 27, National American Legion Commander James Koutz visited the Canandaigua VAMC.
- Eucharistic Ministers
Eucharistic Ministers are approved by the Archdiocese of Military Services. They assist with the distribution of Holy Communion at Mass and to take Holy Communion to the hospitalized or homebound.
- DEER HIDE DONATIONS
The Canandaigua VA Medical Center is a designated collection site. Proceeds from the sale of deer hides are used to benefit Veterans.
