Community Living Center
The mission of VA Community Living Centers (CLC) is to restore the Veteran to maximum function and independence, prevent declines in health, and provide comfort at the end of life. Once completed, VA Butler Healthcare's new CLC will house 60 Veterans and encompass 54,000 square feet. It is designed to make Veterans feel more at home by providing them with a community setting, as well as private rooms and baths. CLICK HERE TO READ MORE
Domiciliary
VA Domiciliaries have evolved from a "Soldiers' Home" to become an active clinical rehabilitation and treatment program for male and female Veterans and domiciliary programs are is now integrated with the Mental Health Residential Rehabilitation and Treatment Programs (MH RRTPs). VA Butler's new 56-bed Domiciliary provides residential rehabilitation for Veterans suffering from substance abuse, homelessness and behavioral health issues. CLICK HERE TO READ MORE
Health Care Center
VA Butler’s new Health Care Center received Congressional approval and was authorized as Public Law 111-82 on November 24, 2009 as a major lease. VA Butler was selected for an HCC because of its mission as a large outpatient clinic – with a need for significant capital improvements – to support the health care needs of local Veterans into the future.VA Butler's new HCC will be a new three-story building with 168,000 square feet to more efficiently provide Butler’s outpatient servics.
