NIH Black Scientists Association (BSA)

The NIH BSA is an association of over 70 scientists, physicians, technologists and science administrators at the National Institutes of Health. The NIH BSA promotes professional advancement and serves as an advocate for various health and scientific issues of importance to underrepresented minority communities in general and to the Black community in particular.

The NIH BSA is an autonomous association which is recognized by the NIH and serves as a resource to the greater NIH community. Of particular interest are issues concerning the recruitment, development, recognition and promotion of Black scientists and clinicians, as well as the selection and care of Black patients and research subjects.

For information about upcoming BSA events, please contact Dr. Roland Owens.
