Audio PSA: High Cholesterol

Narrator: Here's another health tip from AHRQ, the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality. If you have high cholesterol, it’s important to exercise and eat a balanced diet. But you may need to take medicine.  AHRQ has a free booklet called Treating High Cholesterol about different cholesterol medicines, how they work and their side effects.  The booklet will help you discuss your treatment options with your doctor or pharmacist.  It comes with handy charts to track your cholesterol levels and medications. You can pick up your free copy in our pharmacy.  A message from the U. S. Department of Health and Human Services.
