Nothing to Sneeze at, on Valentine's Day

January 1, 2008

A Cold Day for Him, is a print from the February 14, 1885 issue of Harper’s Weekly. The engraving captures an unfortunate moment—a wooer discovering that he has put an advertisement for a cold remedy, rather than a valentine, in an envelope for his sweetheart.
