The Army Continuing Education System (ACES) provides programs and services to promote lifelong learning opportunities for Soldiers and to sharpen the competitive edge of the Army. ACES improves the combat readiness by planning, resourcing and implementing educational programs and services to support Soldiers' professional and personal development.

The Department of Defense (DoD) Voluntary Education Program offers eligible Service members opportunities to further their education through a variety of programs and services provided by the individual branches of Service. These resources are available to assist in planning, completing, and paying for educational advancement from basic academic competencies up to Doctoral degrees.

Board of Veterans' Appeals (BVA) Video Hearings

Considering an optional BVA hearing? Minimize travel and maximize convenience with a live Video Hearing before a Board of Veterans' Appeals (BVA) Veterans Law Judge. Now there are more than 65 VA Regional facilities that use state-of-the-art audio/visual equipment to host live Video Hearings between you (and your representative, if you have one) and a Veterans Law Judge in Washington, D.C. Best of all, statistics show that Video Hearings have the same grant rate as in-person hearings. Note: All Board hearings are entirely optional and are not required to adjudicate your appeal.
