Biometry Research Group

The Biometry Research Group provides key consultations to NCI program managers and scientific decision-makers based on independent and cooperative studies using statistical analysis of biological data and mathematical and computer models.

The group plans and conducts studies in biostatistical and epidemiological methodologies and mathematical modeling of processes relevant to cancer prevention. Collaborations focus on cancer epidemiology, prevention, screening, and diagnosis. Other topics studied include randomized clinical trials, cancer biomarkers, bioinformatics, natural history models, nutritional epidemiology, and dietary assessment.

This section contains several programs that use Mathematica software, and software packages developed by members of this Research Group, as well as data sets and technical reports.
