Temporary Gallery

The Temporary Gallery exhibits change from time to time and are on varied themes.

 

The Introductory Gallery is currently under renovation with a target opening date of April 2012. The newly renovated gallery will provide an overview of Dwight D. Eisenhower's early life and career.

Mamie Eisenhower Gallery

The Mamie Eisenhower Gallery exhibits Mamie's life, emphasizing her role as First Lady.

 

The Military Gallery features documents, photographs and objects which interpret the role of Eisenhower as Supreme Commander and of the men and women who served during World War II.

Presidential Gallery

The Presidential Gallery details the history of the Eisenhower administration, 1953-1961, and includes many computerized interactive displays and learning centers, along with a 1950s fallout shelter, the Plaza Theater marquee, a 1950s living room, and a replica of Eisenhower's Gettysburg retirement office.
