DEA in the Community

A Commitment to Your Community
You probably already know that the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has a presence not only in the United States, but across the world. But you might not realize that that the people who make up the DEA live and work wherever drug trafficking occurs, from large metropolitan areas to small rural towns, and every kind of place in between.

The People Behind the Badges
The men and women of DEA aren't just drug enforcement agents—we're parents, grandparents, brothers and sisters. We've seen how drugs rob young people of their promise and dreams, and how entire families are affected by a child's drug abuse.  And we're committed to protecting our young people by doing everything we can to help families get the information and help they need to keep their homes safe from drug abuse.

Enrique Camarena, Red Ribbon Week
Commemorate Red Ribbon Week and raise awareness of drug use, encourage drug-free lifestyles, and remember the death of DEA Special Agent Enrique Camarena.
