What is the current status of PROMIS?

The PROMIS Assessment Center is operating and can be accessed on the PROMIS Web siteExternal Web Site Policy. The PROMIS Assessment Center provides access to the PROMIS Item Banks, PROMIS Short Forms, and PROMIS Computerized-Adaptive Testing (CAT) system. A researcher may set up their own study with PROMIS Assessment Center and use both PROMIS measures and user-added measures. Currently, the PROMIS Assessment Center includes measures of pain, fatigue, physical functioning, depression, anxiety, anger and satisfaction with social roles.

The second phase of PROMIS began in 2009 and will continue until 2013.
