Mission & Goals

Our mission is simple: to create a world-class organization of Veterans serving Veterans. We want Veterans to love working at VA and build meaningful careers here. To achieve this goal, we will work hard to:

  • Retain the 100,000+ Veterans currently employed at VA
  • Recruit Veterans outside of VA to come work for VA
  • Reintegrate VA’s Military Service Member employees seamlessly after deployments
  • Recognize and honor Veteran service
  • Educate VA’s supervisors, hiring managers, HR professionals and coworkers about Veteran-specific issues and support resources
