tailored to meet your agency's needs in the following areas:
Financial Reporting Assistance. Prepare CFO Act (Form and Content) consolidated financial statements for audit (including
footnotes). Prepare and assist in the transmission of external reports required by OMB and Treasury such as FACTS I, FACTS II, Statement of Transactions and Accountability (FMS 224, 1220, 1219), and Report on Receivables.
Reconciliations. Perform reconciliations of Fund Balance with Treasury to agency books (including IPAC), identify and clear Statement of Differences, and reconcile subsidiary records to general ledger. Provide guidance on reconciliation procedures, elimination
of Statement of Differences, and methods for keeping reconciliations current.
Review and Close-out Activities. Review/update/close-out contracts, purchase orders, other obligation documents, grants or loans on an ongoing basis or to clear backlogs and reach maintenance level. Prepare accurate closing account balances for conversion from one system to another, one entity merging with another, or agency shut down.
Routine Transaction Processing and Ledger Maintenance. Provide temporary help and training in routine accounting functions, such as managing payables, receivables, reimbursables, and IPAC, including data entry.
