1/18/2011 - HOMESTEAD AIR RESERVE BASE, Fla. -- Tax season has already started and everybody wants to get the most for their return. Why not get the most for your return for free?

The Military One Source Tax Program is slated to begin Jan. 17. Through the program, Airmen will have access to do their taxes through H&R Block's free electronic tax filing product. Any Active duty, Reserve, or Guard members are eligible to use the program.

The H&R Block program is an easy to use, step-by-step program. Users will need to create a login and password for both the Military One Source website and H&R Block's site. Once they complete their return, their tax information will be kept securely on file to use next year if desired.

H&R Block guarantees accurate calculations and will even reimburse IRS penalties or interest charges incurred if miss filed. Airmen also have the option to talk to a financial advisor over the phone for free concerning any tax or financial related issue.

Airmen who would like more extensive financial advice can set up 12 free sessions of financial counseling with a professional financial counselor. More information can be found at www.militaryonesource.com
