Figure 3.2 is a bar graph showing percentages of past month alcohol use among persons aged 12 to 20 by racial and ethnic groups in 2002. Past month alcohol use was 32.8 percent for whites, 32.4 percent for American Indian/Alaska Natives, 28.1 percent for persons indicating two or more races, 25.0 percent for Hispanics, 19.3 percent for blacks, and 15.5 percent for Asians.
