Delivery Timeframe:

U.S. Orders

To meet the needs of our customers NTIS offers products in a variety of media formats which involve different reproduction/manufacturing timeframes. The delivery timeframe of orders is dependent upon the media format selected. Because most orders involve custom-reproduction the delivery timeframe will vary. However most orders are typically delivered within 14-21 business days. If you have not received your order within 21 business days and would like to verify the order status, please contact us at customerservice@ntis.gov or call us at 1-888-584-8332 or (703) 605-6050, M-F, 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. (ET).

NTIS also offers hundreds of thousands of products for immediate downloading from our website. These products are referred to as Electronic Documents. Significant cost and time savings are available with the Electronic Document option. NTIS also has available a RUSH SERVICE option on a limited selection of products (telephone orders only – not available for online orders or subscriptions). Using RUSH SERVICE, orders are processed by NTIS within one business day and then shipped by overnight express courier. RUSH SERVICE is available for an additional fee. International Orders

All international demand orders are shipped via FedEx International Priority service. Return Policy

NTIS electronically stores many of the 3 million items in our collection and custom-reproduces a single copy specifically for your order. Therefore, NTIS does not accept cancellations, requests for modifications, or returns for credit or refund. All sales are final. NTIS strives to provide quality products, reliable service, and fast delivery. Please contact us for a replacement within 30 days if the item you receive is defective or if we have made an error in filling your order.
