Julia Strasser, MPH is a Research Associate in the Office of the Associate Director of ARP. Immediately prior to joining ARP, Ms. Strasser worked on several government contracts, including one with the Division of Cancer Control and Population Sciences (DCCPS) Office of the Director (OD), as a Project Manager at MMG, a health communications company. Before working at MMG, she served as a Policy Analyst at the National Family Planning & Reproductive Health Association, advocating on behalf of family planning providers for federal policy issues such as Medicaid, contraception, and reproductive rights. Her interest in women's and reproductive health stems from her pre-masters position at Planned Parenthood of the Great Northwest, where she worked one-on-one with patients to discuss pregnancy options, birth control methods, and HIV testing. She also served as a CRTA in DCEG before starting graduate school. Ms. Strasser received an MPH from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, with a concentration in women's and reproductive health, and a BA from Yale University, where she majored in history.
