The Search Claims page lets you search for your Medicare claims in two different ways: by Claim Number OR by Service Date Range & Claim Type.
If you select to search by Service Date Range & Claim Type, you must then select one of the following Date Range options:
i. 6 Months
ii.12 Months
iii. 24 Months
iv. 36 Months
v. Specific Date Range
For specific date range, you will select Start Date and End Date using the Calendar. You can only select a date in the current year. In addition to date range, you must select one of the following Claim Types:
i. All Claim Types
ii. Hospital Inpatient
iii. Hospital Outpatient
iv. Home Health
v. Hospice
vi. Part B
vii. Durable Medical Equipment (DME)
If you select to search claims by Claim Number, you will be prompted to enter the first 7 digits of the claim number without dashes or spaces. For the search, the following fields are required:
· Search Claims By:
· Select a Service Date Range
· Select a Claim Type
· Claim Number
After entering the search criteria the user can select Submit or Clear.If you would like to start the search over, you can select Clear,which will clear the selected fields and/or self entered data.
Also on the Claims Search page, there is a Quick Links section, which will displays the following links
· View Recent Claims – navigates the user to the Recent Claims page on

· Part B Deductible Status – navigates the user to the My Deductible Status page on MyMedicare.gov (https://mymedicare.gov/claimdeductible.aspx )
· Medicare Secondary Payer (MSP) Recovery Claims – navigates the user to the Medicare Secondary Payer page on MyMedicare.gov (https://mymedicare.gov/mspdisclaimer.aspx)
· Electronic Quarterly Medicare Summary Notices (MSNs) – navigates the user to the Electronic Quarterly Medical Summary Notices page on MyMedicare.gov (https://mymedicare.gov/viewmsn.aspx)
