Audiology and Speech Pathology

The Audiology and Speech Pathology Service provides comprehensive, evidence-based, responsive and patient accessible assessment, diagnosis and management of speech, voice, swallowing, language, hearing and vestibular functions relevant to communication, and cognition. 

Caregiver Support 

Caregivers are family members, loved ones, or friends who provide care for Veterans who are living with the effects of war, disability, chronic illness, or aging.  Read more

Chaplain

Chaplains are members of the healthcare team. The primary objective of the Chaplain Service is to provide for the spiritual welfare of our patients.  

Dental

The Mission of the Sioux Falls VA Dental Service is to provide oral health services for Veteran beneficiaries in conjunction with other elements of the Medical Center and in accordance with the overall policies of the Department.  

Extended Care and Rehabilitation  

Our extended care and rehabilitation program provides physical medicine and rehabilitation, skilled care, and end of life service as well as home and community care.  This includes Home Based Primary Care and Medical Foster Care.

Homeless Veteran Resources

All Veterans at risk for homelessness or attempting to exit homelessness must have easy access to programs and services.  Read More

Military Sexual Trauma (MST) Resource Homepage

Nuclear Medicine

The staff of Nuclear Medicine Service at the Sioux Falls VA Medical Center is dedicated to providing our Veteran with the highest quality most cost effective healthcare services available. 

Nursing

Nurses at the Sioux Falls VA Healthcare System provide professional, competent and compassionate nursing care to Veterans. Using current health care standards and practices derived from education and research, Veterans are ensured competency-based nursing care delivery in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.       

Nutrition & Food

The Nutrition & Food Service serves our Veterans with high quality, nutritionally balanced, appetizing meals and provides optimal nutrition care through a well-defined Medical Nutrition Therapy Program. 

OEF/OIF

Pharmacy

Psychology Training Program

The Sioux Falls Veterans Health System Psychology Training Program offers internships to U.S. citizens who are pursuing a doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA-accredited institution. Read more    

PTSD

The Sioux Falls VA Health Care System offers individual and group outpatient therapy options for Veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and for those struggling with symptoms related to having experienced a traumatic event, even if you do not carry a PTSD diagnosis. Read more

Social Work
