This document provides an overview of motorcycle safety today, along with a plan for the future. Its developers used a comprehensive approach to motorcycle safety, to address the needs of an ever-expanding motorcycling audience. The agenda is organized into sections discussing the four primary factors contributing to motorcycle crashes: human factors, social factors, motorcycle factors, and environmental factors. Current research is highlighted, along with recommendations for increasing motorcycle safety. Appendices provide information on state licensing, motorcycle equipment and insurance requirements, as well as motorcycle crash investigations, safety program assessments and common methodology. 8.5" x 11", full color, 118 pages.
