Mission & Vision
The CERTs program conducts research and provides education that will advance the optimal use of drugs, medical devices, and biological products. CERTs endeavors to be a trusted national resource for people seeking to improve health through the best use of medical therapies
To achieve this mission, CERTs activities:
- Develop knowledge about therapies and how best to use them.
- Manage risk by improving the ability to measure both beneficial and harmful effects of therapies as used in practice.
- Improve practice by advancing strategies to ensure that therapies are used always and only when they should be.
- Inform policymakers about the state of clinical science and effects of current and proposed policies.
