NIXON PRESIDENTIAL LIBRARY TO HOST PANEL ON THE IMPORTANCE OF THE APOLLO MISSIONS
November 2, 2009 --In celebration of the 40th Anniversary of the first Moon landing, join a panel of experts— including Dr. Mike Pauken an engineer at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Dr. Brandon Browne a geologist at California State University in Fullerton, and Dr. Suketu P. Bhavsar a physicist at California Polytechnic State University in Pomona— as they discuss the importance of the Apollo missions and the future of space exploration. Afterwards, museum staff will lead special tours of our “Man on the Moon!” exhibit. November 12, 2009 at 7:00pm
