  2. An Unexpected Screen Sequence has Occurred while searching for Ready(3)

The "READY3" error message that you receive when you are attempting to change your password means that there is an error in your account permissions.

You will need to call the Access Management Office (the office that developed and maintains your account), and ask them to reset your permissions. Their phone number is (703) 693-3625.

  3. An Unexpected Screen Sequence has Occurred while searching for password

If you receive this error message when you attempt to Renew your 90-Day password it means that the system is currently busy. Please try again at another time.

Attempting to change your password during low-peak hours (early in the morning and late in the evening) is often successful.

An error of "password violations" usually means that you are trying to enter the wrong password. Another possibility may be that someone accidentally typed your Logon ID instead of theirs and suspended you.

You may call the Access Management office directly for removal of password violations if you are sure that you know your password.

The Access Management office is open from 7:30am-3:30pm Monday-Friday Eastern Standard Time and can be contacted at 703-693-3625 or DSN 223-3625. If you are not sure if you have the correct password, please click “Continue” to generate a temporary password.

If you have a pop-up blocker installed on your computer it may be preventing you from viewing your password. Please speak with your local network administrator and ask them for assistance.

You can also press down and hold the <CTRL> key while clicking on the ‘Renew Password’ link to override a pop-up blocker. Your password is only displayed on screen for 30 seconds and then will disappear.

If you miss the password you may simply click on the ‘Renew Password’ link again to request another password. The last password that you requested will always be the one that takes effect the following day.
