State-of-the art Computer Based Training available for free to the Army Workforce
At no cost to the individual or their organization, all active duty soldiers, members of the National Guard or Reserves, Department of the Army civilian employees, and USMA and ROTC cadets are authorized to access over 5000 Information Technology, Business Skills, and Interpersonal Skills courses from any location, around the clock (24/7). All you have to do to use Army e-Learning is get an Army Knowledge Online (AKO) account and complete your registration through ATRRS (you do NOT need an ATRRS Logonid/Account to register). Be sure to browse the Army e-Learning Course Catalog to see the courses available to you.
Promotion Points for Vendor-Based Courses
According to HRC Enlisted Promotions Branch, effective immediately, promotion points are valid under military education for completion of vendor-based e-Learning courses. Course completion with credit hours must be reflected in ATRRS prior to awarding promotion points. Promotion points are awarded under the same guidelines as correspondence courses (5 training hours = 1 promotion point).
College Credit for Army e-Learning Courses
Forty Army e-Learning Courses have been approved for college credit by the American Council on Education (ACE). Log into AKO and go to My Education>Army e-Learning to find documents describing the procedures for receiving ACE credit.

To access this web site you must first be authenticated as an authorized user. Authorized users are: Department of the Army Active Duty, Army National Guard, Army Reserves, Department of the Army Civilian employees, USMA and ROTC Cadets III and IV, and Department of the Army Local National employees. Examples of users that are NOT AUTHORIZED Army e-Learning access are contractors, retired personnel, any NON-ARMY SERVICE MEMBER OR CIVILIAN, contractors, retired personnel, and dependents.
