WINDOWS LOGIN REQUIREMENT

The NIH Clinical Center (CC) is requiring a PIV card/HHS ID Badge to log onto a government workstation. This requirement is specific to Windows and is based on the Federal mandate for HSPD-12 Logical Access.

Please note:
Computers in CC conference rooms, SCDs, WOWs, identified Windows workstation with multiple users, kiosks, CRIS training room and Mac workstations will not be required at this time, to use a PIV card/HHS ID Badge.

ADVANCED CRIS TRAINING

The Department of Clinical Research Informatics offers an Advanced CRIS TRAINING class. This class is designed for current CRIS users and will cover in-depth concepts that build upon skills and knowledge learned in the basic CRIS training classes.

BTRIS

The Biomedical Translational Research Information System (BTRIS) is a resource available to the NIH intramural community that brings together clinical research data from Clinical Center systems (CRIS) and other NIH Institutes and Centers. BTRIS provides clinical investigators with access to identifiable data for subjects on their own active protocols, while providing all NIH investigators with access to de-identified data across all protocols.
