Data Analytics

The Office of Equal Opportunity and Diversity Management (OEODM) is building capacity in the data analytics arena. At the heart of comprehensive diversity and inclusion analysis is developing the workforce demographics data and comparing these data to the appropriate benchmarks.

Until we understand how the National Institutes of Health’s workforce population is stratified by; race, national origin, gender, ethnicity, age, disability, etc. we will not be able to develop comprehensive strategies for improving our diversity and inclusion. We are recruiting analysts who will extract the workforce demographics data, analyze it and subsequently assist in the interpretation and development of solutions to correct any barriers that we see in the data.
