NCI SBIR Development Center Program Director Dr. Patricia Weber will participate in a moderated panel session during the New Paradigms to Fund Life Science Innovation Conference on January 9. The session, Government Investing Opportunities to Fund Life Science Innovation, will discuss non-dilutive funding and mechanisms for securing and successfully utilizing funding, among other topics. Leadership from the National Cancer Institute (NCI) Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Development Center will be attending the Personalized Medicine World Conference (PMWC) on January 28-29 in Silicon Valley, CA. Dr. Andrew Kurtz will present details on NIH SBIR funding opportunities and other initiatives that support small businesses developing innovative biomedical technologies. Dr. Kurtz will give a presentation in Track 3 on January 28, 2013.
