I work as a Senior Software Systems Analyst for Lockheed Martin. I received my Bachelors degree in Electronics and Communication from Manipal Institute of Technology, Mangalore University. I am currently working towards a M.S. in computer science at George Mason University.

I have more than 10 years of experience in software design and development on Windows and Linux in the areas of Cryptography, Encryption, Web services, Internet technologies, communications, databases, systems, device driver development, protocols, gaming technologies and components. Before NLM, I worked for comScore networks. I joined the National Library of Medicine in August 2001.

Current Projects

MyMorph: MyMorph is a software tool that allows users to use the Internet to upload scanned image files and other types of information for conversion to the PDF format. Some of the mass document conversion features offered by this tool are not readily available elsewhere on the web. By using this tool, you can upload files to DocMorph for conversion, and usually in less than one minute your results are ready. NLM DocMorph is especially useful for hospitals to preserve patient information data in a portable format. I am the lead developer for this project.
