Current Projects

Lost Person Finder (LPF): The goal of the Lost Person Finder project is to setup a web portal for the public to, as the name implies, located missing persons in the event of a large scale disaster. The project ties together patient intake information from local area hospitals using web services into a searchable web interface. The information is gathered and updated in near realtime so as to send information to the families of victims as soon as it becomes available. Families will be able to sign up for notification services to receive this information. Information will be exchanged between the data sources via an abstraction layer using XML to tie all the services together in a loosely coupled fashion.
