Proprietors of industrial alcohol plants and warehouses, registered distilleries, fruit distilleries, and internal revenue bonded warehouses; rectifiers and bottlers of spirits; and others concerned:

Purpose. This industry circular is being sent you to announce that an industry conference has been scheduled to discuss the distilled spirits plant regulations under Public Law 85-859 and to invite your participation in the conference.

Time. April 21, 1959, at 9:00 a.m.

Place. Room 3313, Internal Revenue Building, Washington, D. C.

Subject for discussion. The meeting is being held to discuss the regulations which will become effective on July 1, 1959, and the problems attendant on initial qualifications and the transition to distilled spirits plant status.

Material for discussion. Prior to the conference we will have copies of the proposed regulations available for distribution to those who plan to attend. This distribution will be through your association representative, if you are a member of an industry association, or from this office, if you are not a member of any such association. However, our supply will be severely limited, so please advise me promptly, if you are not a member of an industry association and plan to attend, in order that a copy may be available for you.
