HRSA runs many programs providing support to people dealing with various diseases and conditions. To find out more about a specific program, click on one of the links below.

  • HIV/AIDS  
    The Ryan White Program works with cities, states, and local community-based organization to provide HIV-related services to more than half a million people each year.
  • Vaccine Injuries  
    The National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (VICP) was established to ensure an adequate supply of vaccines, stabilize vaccine costs, and maintain a forum for individuals injured by certain vaccines.
  • Organ Donation & Transplantation  
    Each organ and tissue donor saves or improves the lives of as many as 50 people. The Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network ensures fair distribution of donated organs in the United States.
  • Maternal Depression  
    For many mothers, the experience of pregnancy and childbirth is often followed by sadness, fear, anxiety, and difficulty making decisions. This website offers answers and strategies for coping.
  • Hansen's Disease/Leprosy
    The National Hansen's Disease Program is the epicenter of Hansen's disease (leprosy) care, research and information in the U.S. This website provides information and resources.
  • Radiation Exposure
    The Radiation Exposure Screening & Education Program (RESEP) helps individuals who live (or lived) in areas where U.S. nuclear weapons testing occurred.
  • Black Lung 
    Black Lung Clinics provide services to active and retired coal miners with respiratory and pulmonary impairments, including diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation.
  • Traumatic Brain Injury
    The Federal Traumatic Brain Injury Program helps State and local agencies develop resources so that all individuals with TBI and their families will have appropriate services and supports.
