The following resources and tools are provided here as a service to help you implement Section 508. The information below includes resources developed and maintained by The IT Accessibility & Workforce Division, as well as external sites that link you with resources and tools. GSA’s IT Accessibility and Workforce (ITAW) provides assistive technology solutions to eliminate barriers for people with disabilities. ITAW’s Assistive Technology (AT) Showcase displays state-of-the-art assistive technologies and ergonomic solutions. ITAW is the government's principal advocate and coordinator for Section 508 implementation that requires agencies to make information technology accessible for people with disabilities. ITAW is recognized as the government wide policy resource for Section 508.The ITAW does not endorse the content on any of the external sites provided, but offers them as an informational resource to be used at your discretion.
