GR110 - Introduction to QVR

Description:

The QVR (Query/View/Report) is a robust web-based system that serves as a portal for gathering information from the IMPAC current, frozen, and history databases and NIH Data Warehouse extramural obligation data to answer ad hoc questions about individual grants and portfolios and to support common extramural business activities.

This class is designed to introduce new users to the system. The presentation will highlight the full range of features and capabilities of the QVR system. The class will be presented as a combination of lecture, demo, and hands-on exercises.

Students will need an NIH ID and an IMPAC II ID to perform the class exercises. Class participants are encouraged to logon to the QVR Systemand explore it. There has been a steady stream of new features added to the system. QVR users who have not taken this training class in the last year will find the class to be good refresher course.
