Program Officials, Program Analysts & other?s interested in systematically searching for & analyzing scientific content. This class is designed to show you how to effectively use eRA modules to conduct scientific search & analysis. Topics to be covered include:
- Identify important characteristics of your portfolio
- Quickly identify projects in a particular scientific area
- Locate discrete scientific areas that exist in your portfolio as well as gaps
- Identify projects in other ICs that are similar to aspects of your portfolio
- Determine if an RFA/PA is needed by finding out:
- Are there other significant projects currently funded in the area of this RFA/PA?
- Are there projects just beyond the payline that are in the scientific area of this RFA/PA?

- View your portfolio through information graphics for a quick way to evaluate both funding & productivity (publications)
