To NIH Institutes and Centers (ICs);
The Center for Information Technology (CIT) is synchronizing NIH-wide support for the recent releases of Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0, Windows Vista, and Office 2007. CIT will continue to provide NIH with easy access to accurate and timely information needed to successfully implement these products.
We have established a wiki for the NIH community (http://kiwi.cit.nih.gov/vista), where we will post information. We encourage NIH ICs to sign up, create an account and use this collaborative tool to share with each other their knowledge and experiences with these new products.
CIT will provide information regarding system compatibility, and will work with the NIH Enterprise Systems to document system compatibility or projected timeframes for compatibility. CIT will also implement and document a central NIH service for Windows Vista product activation.
With your help we can provide consistency in support for these products across the NIH.
