Project SEARCH
Project SEARCH is a program dedicated to providing education and training to young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities through an innovative workforce and career development model that benefits the individual, workplace, and community. The National Institutes of Health has embraced this program and is in its second year of participation.

Workforce Recruitment Program
The Workforce Recruitment Program (WRP) is a recruitment and referral program that connects federal sector employers nationwide with highly motivated postsecondary students and recent graduates with disabilities who are eager to prove their abilities in the workplace through summer or permanent jobs.
To be eligible for the WRP, candidates must be current, full-time undergraduate or graduate students with a disability, or have graduated within one year of the release of the database each December. For the 2013 WRP release, interviews will be held in the fall of 2012. A candidate who graduated in October, 2011 or later would still be eligible to participate. Candidates must be U.S. citizens.

Veterans Recruitment and Retention Force (VRF)
VRF was formed in November 2011 to support the recruitment and retention of veterans of the US Armed Forces. VRF members foster and expand relationships between veterans at NIH and with military communities and organizations outside of NIH through social and service events. Special Interest Groups
Asian and Pacific Islander American Organization (APAO)
Formed in October 1996 to represent the Asian and Pacific Islander American (APA) employees of NIH. The APAO mission is to support the efforts and programs of the NIH that promote equality and fairness in the workplace for all NIH employees.
Blacks In Government® Mission and Vision
The NIH Chapter of Blacks In Government is a professionally run service organization that serves its members, encourages and inspires excellence in others, and advocates for equality in medical research, educational opportunity, workforce recruitment, and career development.
3 Blind Mice
An independent group dedicated to sharing information and resources related to blindness and low vision. This group is open to any interested individuals: blind, low vision, sighted; all are welcome and encouraged to join us.
Salutaris
An organization of Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender (GLBT) and allied NIH employees whose mission is to foster an atmosphere at NIH that is open and inclusive of all employees regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.
Federally Employed Women
Is a private membership organization working as an advocacy group to improve the status of women employed by the federal government and by the District of Columbia government.
Job Club
A resource program for Project SEARCH employees to develop successful performance, successful workplace conduct, and independent living skills.
