Ms. Bridgette Tobiassen supervises and manages all ARC functions including planning, organizing and directing daily operations for both the Division of Cancer Biology (since 1997) and the Division of Extramural Activities (since 2003).  She meets with Division Directors and senior institute officials to formulate and effectively implement the organization’s goals and objectives, and is responsible for leading the ARC in providing financial management for over $90 million in operating costs, human resource and staff management for over 150 FTEs.  In addition, she manages facility and information resources and all other areas related to general administration for both Divisions and the ARC.
 
Education:  BS in Finance from the University of Maryland; graduate and leadership courses at Harvard University and the Office of Personnel Management
