I really appreciate this, because I've often wondered about food staying fresh and edible in the freezer, especially after a power-outage. But, how do you know if your freezer is perpetually at zero degrees? It seems like if you can't be sure of zero degrees, maybe you shouldn't keep that food as long? Another video would be really helpful for those of us who aren't sure of the temperature of our freezers. Thanks!

It is wonderful that the USDA is taking a pro-active step in outreach programs to get the word out to the Public. We will thrive nutritionally when the information is readily available on how to CLEAN, SEPARATE, COOK, AND CHILLor, do all four before storing in our homes and kitchens.

Get all of your beef, poultry, pork, eggs and milk locally. Problem solved and I didn't even need 25 expensive oversight agencies.
