Congressionally Identified Grant Awards - Administration on Aging

Each year Congress directs that certain amounts of funding be used for specific projects and/or entities at designated amounts outside of the competitive grants process. This type of award is referred to as a “Congressionally Identified Award ” or “Congressional Mandated Award. ” As funding for Congressionally Identified Awards is not competed, eligibility for these funds is restricted to the entities identified by Congress.

No Congressional funding is expected to be available in FY11. If funds do become available, the FY10 instructions will carry forward into FY11 and posted on Grants.gov.
