TASKS/SERVICES:

The contractor shall:

1. Provide support for the facilitation of studies into the neurobiology of Childhood Onset Schizophrenia.
2. Work with staff in the recruitment of children and adolescents for Childhood Onset Schizophrenia studies.
3. Contact participants and family members to schedule interviews.
4. Perform screenings and clinical interviews both in person and by telephone.
5. Perform IQ and learning disorder testing; prepare analyses and reports.
6. Provide communication with parents seeking entry into study.
7. Collect and analyze data from clinical interviews.
8. Conduct reviews and prepare summaries of clinical interviews.
9. Prepare written and computerized summaries of case histories.
10.Prepare weekly reports to include data collection tools and diagnostic groupings.
11. Maintain and update records of all screenings and clinical interviews.
12. Perform a variety of typing to include, but not limited to, letters, memoranda, and any other assigned material reports, schedules, abstracts, protocols, etc. and obtain publication clearances as needed.
13. Draft and submit outside activity requests.
14. Prepare weekly reports to include data collection totals and diagnostic groupings.
15. Collect and enter research data.
16. Provide quality assurance in data collected.
17. Contact participants in family study of mental and physical disorders.
18. Stock reprints and journals for the Branch library; maintain and dispose of such materials as needed; request articles electronically for staff through NIH Library services.

REQUIREMENTS:

The contractor must have:

1. Master degree in Psychology plus 6 years of experience.
2. BS with 8 years of experience might be considered.
3. Proven ability to be VERY ORGANIZED with excellent ANALYTICAL and TIME MANAGEMENT skills.
4. Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook.
5. Experience in performing literature searches or citation queries using web-based resources.
6. Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
7. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with patients, family members and a wide range of mental health care professionals.
