Bioinformatics/Computational Biology

Applicants are invited to apply for a postdoctoral position in Bioinformatics/ computational biology with Dr. Leping Li's group in the Biostatistics Branch at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences. The group focuses on methods and applications for identifying transcription factor binding sites in DNA sequences and Next-Gen sequence data analysis. The group has strong interactions with statisticians in the Branch and biologists at the Institute. Successful candidates must have a Ph.D in Biostatistics, Bioinformatics, or related areas. Prior experience in DNA sequence analysis is not required, but desirable. Programming skills in C, C++, R, or MatLab are required. Initial appointments will be for two years and may be renewed.
